Holiday Time!

A musical legend once sang ‘when the going gets tough, the tough get going’. Yes I’m thinking about you Billy Ocean. I like to have my own little version of the song which goes ‘when the going gets tough, go on holiday’ – granted not all things can be sorted with a little bit of sun and a fun cocktail but it’s still a nice thought.

As the Easter weekend has now gone our thoughts turn to my favourite ‘S’ word…SUMMMER! And as ever we have some lovely leather accessories that are perfect for exotic escapes or shorter trips to Cornwall if you prefer to say on the great isle. But in addition to some lovely products I have also created a most joyous and colourful set to inspire your holiday wardrobe!

Starting from the top we have of course, the classic straw sunhat to keep the strength of the sun from frying your head. Sunglasses are a staple of every outfit and whether you prefer cat eye, square, aviator or polarised they mustn’t be forgotten. Bright is best in my mind and a pretty sundress or two will make you stand out no matter which beach you’re frolicking on.

There’s a day of the week for every type of bikini, tankini, suit and bandeau, and that’s before we get into the dispute of whether it’s underwired, non-wired, padded or unpadded, V-cut, straight cut, halter or strapless. If the mere mention of negotiating swimwear has got to feeling besieged I strongly suggest you make yourself a brew and have a biscuit because as my dear mother always says ‘the diet starts tomorrow’!
